Throughout the past semester, a 300-word blog assignment was due every Friday. Initially, the assignments seemed tedious and annoying. However, after reflecting upon each blog assignment, they were extremely helpful and thought provoking. As the semester progressed, our assignment topics become more extensive based on the relative comprehensive material learned in class. I found the assignments extremely interesting because they were very personal. The incorporation of my personal life helped me to understand the topics discussed in class more thoroughly. My idiosyncratic experiences helped me to succeed with the blog assignments. As the semester ensued, my comprehension of the material was certainly amplified with the implementation of the assignments. I enjoyed talking about my own interests such as Jimi Hendrix, traveling, sports, and my favorite movie, Forrest Gump. By relating my own avocations to the blog assignments, I developed new skills as a writer such as expanded my use of language, images, and ideas.Blog
